About Us
Where did the idea come from?
"As a 5K enthusiast and an avid volunteer at New Life Church, I saw creating the Jingle Run as a fun way to combine two of my passions. I had been wanting to host a 5K for some time, and thought a Christmas theme would be a blast, but Michigan icy winters are not very conducive to running outside. Therefore, a Christmas in July 5K still offered the fun, with less ice-induced dangers! This will be a fun way to raise money for the Ann Arbor Community, bring people together to use their own gifts and talents, and get people out enjoying the outdoors!" -Chelsea Grotrian (Jahn), founder of The Jingle Run Ann Arbor
